ABOUT DANA & STEPHANE Maitec
Dana & Stephane Maitec have been working together as an artist duo since 2002. With an outstanding international career comprising exhibitions in France, Italy, Switzerland, USA, The Netherlands and Belgium and a portfolio of collaborations spanning Financial Times, Elle International and Paris Magazine, among others, the two artists have been focusing in the last two decades on capturing the human nature, while choosing a figurative approach, centered upon the story behind the camera, not as much in documentary terms, as well as in the composition of the image, carefully built by Dana’s native aesthetic eye, completed by Stéphane’s set design refinement. Interested in continuously exploring and innovating their artistic language, after a series of projects which have brought together photography, fashion, drama and film set design, Dana & Stéphane Maitec propose in Reflections, their newest project, a highly original visual experiment, which could be seen as a new art genre, at the crossroads between photography and abstract art.
